Density Lab Report
Objective: To measure the absorption of variant materials.
Materials: 400 mL BeakerRulerWater Triple gleam equilibrize Box of Density Cubes Goggles Tongs
Procedure:
1. typeset on all safety equipment and gather all materials.
2. wee a chart (A) in your data dent with trinity columns. 1st column with the name of each of the density engine blocks. second column with your guess on if the cube will shove off in water system. 3rd column with the actual results.
3.Before place each cube into a 400 mL Beaker of water guess if it will float or sink. Then essay this hypothesis by putting the density cube in the water. Record your results. Remember to dry off the cubes once you buy off them out.
4.Create a chart (B) in your data section with 7 columns; see data section for how to create it specifically.
5. metric weight unit each cube on the Triple Beam Balance and record its Mass.
6.Measure the length, comprehensiveness, and height of each cube. Find the cubes volume by multiplying the length x width x height and record it on the chart.
7.To find the density of the cube you must divide the mass by the volume. D = m / v
8.Once all calculations are done effect the conclusion questions.
9.Clean up your area and put aside your materials.
10.
Take your lab notebook home this is the first semi-formal report.
