Are All Men Equal?

The United States contract of Independance gave the same rights to everyone, right? It didnt leave out wo manpower, African-Americans, or anyone. Or did it? A man can not splice other man and a woman can not marry another woman. That seems a little unfair. I was under the notion that all men-and women-were created equal. Werent we, as a county, for under the idea of freedom, rights, and a say in how we live our lives? The Declaration itself states, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Persuit of Happiness. We cant do that. We cant counterbalance marry who we want anymore! Why? It is because the bible and god say its wrong? Because one is not a trustworthy man if he likes other men? Or peradventure its because the Separation of Church and State law doesnt apply to everyone. Honestly, what happened? It seems as if weve gotten a bit off track.
The Declaration says that all men are created equal. They must have forgotten the unless theyre homo enkindleual part. I doubt that. Our founding fathers left that out because the meant everyone. Granted, it took some prison term for African-Americans and women to get treated right, but it still happened.



So whats fetching so long to give homosexuals their basic rights? The Declaration excessively says that we are guaranteed the right to the persuit of happiness. What if marrying a member of the same sex would make someone happy? They cant do that. Even in states where audacious marriage is legal, they dont have the same rights as normal marriages. If a gay married couple goes somewhere gay marriage is not legal-South Dakota, for example-they technically are not married. That solely does not seem right. Is the Declaration lying, or have we serious forgotten what our original intentions were? Personally, I believe its gods fault.
