Throughout the novel colossal Expectations, positions character and nature goes through some transformations. He is somewhat similar at the beginning and end, but very different man outgrowth up. He is influenced by many characters, but two in particular: Estella, the hard-hearted girl from the Satis House, and Magwitch, the convict from the marshes. Some things that cause force-out or growth in a person argon responsibility, discipline, and surrounding oneself around people who are inspiring.
From the beginning of Great Expectations to the end of part 1, a young boy named Pip develops inner conflict. Pip is an orphan, raised by his strict previous(a) sister and her loving husband. As far as he knows, Pip is just an run-of-the-mine boy living an ordinary life. That is, until he meets a young upper fellowship and pretty girl, Estella, who tells him otherwise. His inner conflict begins on his first sight of her. blind by her beauty and his desire to impress, Pip struggles to become special and accepted. Pips conflict begins when he meets the unkind but beautiful Estella on a forced visit to see a cryptic woman named Miss Havisham. After meeting Pip, Estella makes a chin-wag about his hands and boots, which affects Pip deeply. Estella says, and what course hands he has!

A young, upper class, and beautiful girl, Estella, was the person Pip always dreamed of being with. At first peek , Pip realizes she is his, Love at first sight(137) while talking with Biddy on their walk in the garden. The land for going to the Satis house is to receive a benefactor in order to rise in social class. After receiving a large fortune of money Pip believes Miss Havisham is his recondite benefactor. With the large sum of money he rises social class and his attitudes change besides those of Estella.
