The Chinese Hell Factories - Foxconn
I believe that we have seen the extraordinary success of Apples iPhone and iPad, and these products have significantly changed thousands of consumers lifestyles. However, how many consumers be aware of where the products are manufactured? And do these consumers hear about the bloody tosh behind the sleek faces of their lovely treasures? All these iPhones and iPads are non assembled by robots but by hand of the huge recite of dirt-cheap employees at the hell factories of Foxconn in China, which is one of the main producer of Apple and is well-known by the series of suicides within the friendship. As a Chinese, I felt the pain of my country workers working at Foxconns factories because most of them are peasant workers, and in some case, they have been discriminated by their backgrounds in cities, and more than sad thing is that they are treated in an inhuman agency in Foxconn. Reflecting to our course ? global marketing, when local companies are outsourcing in other counties, the consideration between profit maximization and grind deregulation is essential for todays business world.
