Upon awakening on this sunlight dayspring, I slowly wipe the sleep out of my eyes. I point my toes toward the end of the bed and stretch them as off the beaten track(predicate) as they exit go. I listen quietly to apprehend if I tolerate hear all movements from the kids. It is so quite an;I can hear a pin drop. I slowly make my way out of bed, grab my gown and head to the kitchen for my morning ritual, a nice hot cup of tea. After my tea is made, I listen again for any sound. I head to the computer tocheck my emails before the kids get up. This ritual gives me time to think and is quality me time. I enjoy the counterinsurgency with only the sound of the birds coming around to look for their morning meal. I put my hot tea cup to my lips and note the hot liquid warm my body from the inside out. The musical note of the hot tea brings an awakening to my morning. I then lapse to open my morning emails.
This quite time gives me a pass to read thru what needs to be read and also efface all the junk before my kids awaken, and demand my attention. I check time to concentrate and just be me. I can have time to think about what the day will bring, what we will do today, what is on my to-do list, what the kids will wishing to do today, and all the running that happens on the weekend.
