Literature and Gender

By definition gender is the wide go under of characteristics that are seen to distinguish amid antheral and female. Growing up who is to say which characteristics really distinguish a child from universe either male or female. Does licking with Barbies piddle a human female? Or does playing with GI Joes make it male? Do the colors we soften signify anything? Is pink for girls and blue for boys? If the characteristics that distinguish the difference between male and female are so widely set, what happens to those children caught in between these so called gender characteristics? The children such as the ones who relish playing with Barbies but think blue is, by far, the coolest crayon in the crayon box. Are they left unimportant for the rest of their lives? Or are they simply characterized as X and left to one day, independently, decide their own gender?
lamentably children directly do not have the option that X had growing up, children are quickly molded into such decided gender graphemes leaving little to no room for X types. But who molds these so called Xs, is it their parents, other parents, peers? Or is it todays corrupt society, which finds the greys of gender a dark and shivery place.

Although it may be a mix of parents, peers and society, what happens to these X type children before they are molded?
