Buck is a surprisingly moving and riveting documentary approximately the life and philosophy of a serviceman known as Buck Brannaman. Buck, a cowboy that is commensurate to connect with horses on an incredible level, describes his life and shows us how it has molded the way he treats these animals.

The rest of the documentary is spent showing Bucks lifestyle today and his methods for raising and training horses. One of the intimately interesting and admirable things about Buck is his treatment of the horses and the gist that he puts into it. Treating the horses as if they were humans and looking at it from their office is shown to be very effective, and none can do it sooner like Buck. One of the many, many quotable lines from the doc take Buck describing the horse as an extension of you, and this is the sort of witticism that helps him get on the same level as the horse.
