For my English stratum I have to read the book Lord of the travel by William Golding. Im non a huge fan of the book but its worth the read. Its very descriptive with scenery and actions but the plot seems to be at a relative standpoint, and because of that I find it to be a bit dry. The premise of the book is what would happen if a bunch of kids ages 6 12 landed on a remote island with no indigenous civilization and had to try to populate together. I think its amazing how they get organized and how well they have managed themselves to this point. In order to get through the rangy amounts of description Ive successfully been able to push my agency through it by visualizing the paragraphs like theyre scenes in a movie.
